Cornel joined the Wales McLelland team in 2014 and brings almost 20 years of experience in a number of administrative roles including accounts payable, sales administration, and logistics management; both in Canada and her native South Africa.

Wales McLelland constructed this built-to-suit warehouse, office, and production facility located on the shore of the Fraser River in Burnaby. The building contains a new state-of-the-art facility for Weatherhaven's highly successful shelter manufacturing business, as well as additional lease space.

Bill Fairweather has been a Foreman for Wales McLelland Construction since 1997 and is responsible for supervising the construction of commercial and industrial buildings. Bill brings more than 33 years of experience in commercial construction to our team and has worked on projects such as office facilities, automotive retailers, manufacturing and distribution facilities, and public buildings.

Marcel hails from Sierra Leone where he achieved his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Sierra Leone, West Africa in 2005. He has also achieved SJA Occupational First Aid Level 3 & EMR and, in addition to previous experience in Occupational Health & Safety roles, he brings with him previous experience in engineering and project management.

Working along side Etienne Theron, Manager of Pre-Construction, Gerhard brings more than 27 years of experience to his role as Senior Estimator with Wales McLelland Construction. Hailing from South Africa with a BSc (QS) Honours from the University of the Free State, Gerhard has managerial experience where he has played a key role in developing business plans and price models, managing numerous projects, negotiating with contractors, co-ordinating sub-trades and construction professionals, as well as oversee risk on project sites. As Senior Estimator, he is responsible for the cost and productivity analysis of numerous projects, fielding construction related questions from sub-trades and suppliers, and reviewing designs and specifications.
