CPF-MB acts as an advocate for French second-language programs, such as French Immersion and Basic French, providing information and support to parents seeking new programs or making presentations to local school boards for changes or expansion of existing programs. CPF has members in school divisions all over Manitoba, wherever there are French Immersion and Basic French programs. CPF-MB members contribute many hours to support the programs: fund-raising, joining in reading programs, organizing camps, visits and exchanges, holding family fun nights for FSL students and parents and providing information about FSL programs.
