Description

In 1992, an energetic team of former Mouvement Desjardins employees founded CIA. Their goal was to help businesses develop their information systems. The reason for their enthusiasm was clear: there was so much to be done!
The firm has grown fast since then. But expansion brings a risk, the danger of losing sight of the very ideals behind the firm's successof becoming like any another company. That is why CIA constantly returns to its core values and its vision of customer service.
That vision is clear and unswerving. In a fastchanging world where information technology grows more complex and diverse by the day, CIA has a simple credo: quality first. Quality of knowledge, quality of customer service these are CIA's keys to helping client companies attain their objectives and to building business relationships that last.
Success is no excuse for insensitivity or incompetence. CIA clients never complain of either. AN OBSESSION WITH QUALITY

CIA long ago realized that nurturing quality was in its own best interests. Therefore obtaining ISO 9001 certification in 1997 was a natural step to take.

As an information technology specialist, CIA has to ensure that its work helps clients meet their business objectives. To do so, it has put in place a whole series of permanent quality control and quality promotion measures.

These measures apply to everything from employee training to communications and customer relations. Careful attention is also paid to identifying specific client needs and providing priority problem solving.

This strict control is key to achieving CIA's ultimate objective—
satisfying clients and employees alike. OUR APPROACH

Pampered and relieved—that is how companies feel that choose CIA for information system development and maintenance.

Not only do they gain access to valuable resources for their development, they also benefit from high performance, profitenhancing computer applications. With its on time, on budget approach and systematic monitoring of results, CIA is an ally companies can trust.

But that is not all. As a consultant, CIA also helps businesses prepare for the future, providing expert advice and roadmapping in areas like systems integration as well as application development and outsourcing.

Anticipating client needs and providing persuasive results, CIA painstakingly develops the kind of business relationships that matter most the ones built on trust. AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Nothing can replace know-how. Specialized expertise is the key to CIA's effectiveness and professionalism.

-applications development HUMAN RESOURCES
The college and university educated project managers, technicians, architects and analysts at CIA all share a common passion for the world of computers.

CIA's design and development specialists are trained to put information technology and applications to work for business, not the other way around! That means advising and assisting in the use of computer tools that may sometimes require a little getting used to.

CIA sees to it that all employees regularly upgrade their knowledge of the latest technologies a continuous training approach that does wonders to keep their passion burning bright!

And it shows CIA employees bring their enthusiasm and their knowledge of the latest technology and tools with them every time they meet with clients. A BENEFICIAL ALLIANCE
Information technology is changing so fast that even predicting developments over the next five years is risky business.
But one thing is clear. Decision makers in the field are few and powerful. With this in mind, CIA chose to form a partnership with CGI group in 1997, the largest Canadian owned independent consulting firm in information technologies in the country.
The alliance is a natural for the two firms, both of which are very active in the financial world. CGI Group owns one third of
CIA shares, a minority stake that leaves CIA with all the decision making latitude it requires while at the same time providing a privileged link with one of the major players in its line of business.
Companies in the information system development field today compete in a market that spans the globe. With its powerful ally, CIA is well positioned to take on the competition, no matter where it comes from.
