Founded in 1987, the Edmonton based firm initially focused on fibreglass sucker rods and then expanded into a complete rod pumping optimization and services organization as directional and horizontal drilling increased well design complexity.

Downhole Gas Separators Penta manufactures downhole gas separators from specialized materials to allow for maximum gas breakout in wells ranging from vertical to 30 degree inclination. For wells from 30 degrees to true horizontal we offer a special downhole separator designed and manufactured by Premium ALS known as "weighted Intake Rod Pump Gas Separator" which has proven very effective in deviated wells experiencing gas interference when being pumped.
