We have years of experience in the Diminished Value Claims review process and have been involved in numerous DV claims and our process is the same regardless of who we accept a claim from. Since we are experts, who give an unbiased opinion on whether a subject vehicles value was Diminished and if so the amount. There is no set formula accepted by the courts in Alberta or in any other jusrisdictions we are are aware of in Canada. A recent recorded case in Alberta rejected a "formula" that was presented by a plaintiff and awarded nothing for the "inherent diminished value" claim that the case was premised on.
