Description
The Burn Fund is supported by 3,300 professional fire fighters from forty-seven communities around British Columbia. We dedicate and donate our off-duty time and skills to help burn survivors and educate the public on burn awareness and fire safety. We hold a variety of community events including golf tournaments, pancake breakfasts, hose reel festivals, and sporting competitions. We raise money through the production and sale of fire fighter calendars, the presentation of magic shows, and we host hundreds of unique fundraisers. For a current calendar of events, see the Event Calendar section of this site. The Burn Fund is the charitable arm of the BC Professional Fire Fighters Association. It is managed by a board of directors.
