DBC's technical personnel actively participates in the development and formulation of domestic and international marine safety standards. Our strong commitment to improving marine safety keeps DBC at the forefront of lifesaving product design. Our manufacturing plant and head office, employing over 50 skilled technicians and professional support staff, is located in Delta (Vancouver), British Columbia. DBC has always been proud of maintaining quality production staff who build and test each product to the highest possible standards of quality and reliability.

Now a division of "Survitec SOLAS Liferaft Business" is now owned by the Survitec Group. The company will continue to manufacture highly engineered and quality marine Lifesaving equipment, Survival Clothes and equipment, and Fire Safety Systems for both Marine and Commercial applications. DBC was incorporated in 1977 and is one of the largest and most experienced marine lifesaving equipment manufacturers. Since its inception, DBC has developed and continues to manufacture a comprehensive range of yachting and commercially approved liferafts, platforms and passenger evacuation systems.

The site offers servicing for lifesaving appliances such as Liferafts, Marine Evacuation Systems (MES), Life Jackets, Immersion Suits and Rescue Boats. It also offers a broad range of ship safety services such as fire safety equipment, compressed systems, hoses, hydrants, extinguishers. Survitec customers in the region include the Royal Canadian Navy, British Colombia Ferries and Seaspan. The Group is pleased to be continuing to serve its customers and the local marine industry from its new premises in Delta.
