Bracebridge Generation along with Lakeland Energy and Lakeland Power is a subsidiary of Lakeland Holding Limited Our company is wholly owned by the municipalities of Bracebridge, Burk’s Falls, Huntsville, Magnetawan and Sundridge. It is a real pleasure to manage this company and carry on the tradition of Bracebridge, it being the first municipality in Canada to generate electricity utilizing water, dating back to 1894. Our company has been very active over the past years in expanding our generation capabilities through acquisition and expansion with a total capacity of 5.2 megawatts (5,200 kilowatts).
