The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes is proud to provide a diverse sports package to the City of Kawartha Lakes. We provide sports for children and youth grades JK-12. The goal of our programs are to provide children and youth with an opportunity to experience sports in there community at low to no cost.

Our staff are trained to meet the needs of your child and have been trained in Principals of Health Development (HIGH FIVE), Coordinated Approach to Child Health (CATCH), First Aid/ CPR, Behavioural Management, Crisis Prevention Intervention as well as numerous internal training opportunities. We offer a safe facility that provides your child with an opportunity to access- Physical Activity, Healthy Eating & Nutrition, Health & Wellness and Community focused programs that benefit your child on a daily basis!

We provide a safe, supportive place, where every child is listened to, treated with respect and valued in an environment of inclusion and acceptance. Our staff and volunteers model honesty, fair play, positive attitude, cooperation and respect for self and others.

We provide a variety of program that expose children and youth to new healthy choices, menu planning, food purchasing, and how to understand nutrition labels.

We provide a variety of programs that support at risk children and youth- mental health, hygiene, substance usage (certain groups), and physical well-being. These programs are offered by club staff and community partners such as Trent University Nursing program and our local Health Unit.
