Cheryl McQueen is a Registered Nurse and graduate from St. Joseph's School of Nursing Hamilton, Ontario. Her many years of nursing experience include critical care, dialysis, and working for the Department of Health and Welfare in Canada's Arctic remote communities of Inuvik, Tuktoyaktuk and Fort Franklin N.W.T. In 1995, she completed post graduate studies obtaining a Master's Degree at Regis College University of Toronto. She has also taken various bereavement courses from Dr. Alan Wolfelt at the Centre for Loss and Life Transition in Colorado, and completed a course on Crisis Intervention for Schools and Colleges from the National Organization for Victim Assistance in Washington D.C.
