Description
Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. was incorporated in February 1970 pursuant to the B.C. Company Act. Operations commenced in 1971, and since that time the company has concentrated on the exploration and development of past-producing gold properties which in 2000 led to the discovery of the recently permitted Bonanza Ledge open pit mine. In October 1994, management entered into an agreement to earn a 50% interest in the Cariboo Gold Quartz Property (CGQ), a former underground gold mine (1933-1959), located in the Cariboo Mountains in East -central British Columbia.
