Alpine View Pet Spa

Alpine View Pet Spa is a full service spa located just WEST of Strathmore (east of Calgary) and SOUTH of the Transcanada Highway. We are family owned and operated business focused on quality care for dogs and cats. Our facility has indoor kennels attached to outdoor runs which allow the dogs to go in and out as they please between the hours of 8 A.M. and 9 P.M. Our runs that are suited for large breed dogs are 8' by 6' and the runs for the small dogs are 6' by 6'. All of the out door runs are covered; protecting the dogs from the elements and the kennel is double fenced for extra protection. Alpine View features infloor heating which keeps our boarders warm in the winter and cool in summer. We also have large fenced recreational areas where the dogs get to be dogs for a portion of the day. We have implimented a supervised socialization program and we encourage the dogs (especially single dogs) to play with the other dogs. That said, if you as an owner do not feel comfortable having you pet play with others, we will play with them on their own. Each dog is exercised twice a day, their kennels are cleaned out twice a day and they are fed twice a day.

I have, since I was a child, had a huge love for all animals. Dogs and cats have always been a part of my life. When I was a little girl, my sister and I found a stray yellow lab. We brought him home and begged our parents to let us keep him. Yeller was 2 years old when we found him and died when he was 16. It was the best 14 years of my life as he was the best friend anyone could ask for. After that it was only natural for me to have a dog. I started with one and now I have three. Diesel my Pit Bull Rottweiler cross is my oldest at 8, Harley a Rottweiler Kelpie cross is 7 and Chewy, the Yellow Lab, is 5. Because I had a pit bull cross in the house I spent time working with different dog trainers learning the different behaviors of dogs. I used this knowledge to train my other dogs and now offer obedience classes to others.
