Description

Allied Windows was incorporated in 1975. In 1978 Allied was purchased by Cliff and Gordon Guthrie. This father and son partnership directed Allied Windows from annual sales of
$100,000 in 1978 to $7,000,000 in 1992. In 1993 Cliff Guthrie retired and was bought out by Gordon Guthrie and John Kolff.
Gordon and John automated and computerized all operations at
Allied Windows. The implementation of this leading edgetechnology not only allowed Allied Windows to improve product quality, but also double its annual sales in 1993 to
$ 14,000,000. In 1996 Allied Windows' projected sales volumeis $ 20,000,000. Allied Windows is totally committed to customersatisfaction and to manufacturing only the finest quality windows and patio doors. In March of 1994, Allied Windows initiated a 100 percent quality inspection program in accordancewith the I.S.O. 9003-87 Quality Systems standard. Effective
August 8, 1994, Allied Windows' Quality Program is certified to the I.S.O. standards by ITS Warnock Hersey. Allied's long term commitment to energy conservation and the environment was rewarded on February 21, 1996. BC Hydro presented Allied Windows with the prestigious 1995 Power Smart Excellence Award for their leadership role in the design and development of energy efficient windows. Future plans for Allied Windows include staying on the leading edge of technology in the Aldergrove Plant, which has convenient access to B.C., Alberta, and the northwestern United
States markets.

Allied Windows will also continue to develop foreign markets, taking advantage of easy access to sea ports and the attractive
