EDUCATION K-12 Rocky Point Engineering has a vast array of experience in the K-12 education sector, and has completed projects for over 51 school district clients across the province of British Columbia. In addition to innovative and sustainable new building design, we have also completed numerous renovations to existing elementary, middle and secondary schools. We are also heavily involved in building renewal through heating, ventilation and energy upgrades, in addition to due diligence reports and energy studies. We are active members of the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI) and The Educational Facility Managers Association of British Columbia (EFMA).

DATA CENTERS Rocky Point Engineering has always shown a keen interest in data center design. Data centers are energy intensive and there are many energy conserving measures that can be implemented to provide significant energy savings to increase the data center’s competitiveness. Our work has spanned small isolated data closets to a long standing partnership with a leading Data Center company based in Kelowna, BC. We offer practical and proven experience in leading edge, cost effective data center cooling solutions as well as knowledge of the regulatory and certification bodies and agencies surrounding this industry.

At Rocky Point Engineering, we believe that renewable energy systems can be beautifully integrated within the project or site area. Renewable energy systems are ideally integrated within the project after all potential passive and active energy saving systems have been implemented. Renewable energy systems typically possess a long life-cycle and will generate free and renewable energy for many years. We provide energy modeling, incentive and grant writing/liaison as well as design and construction administration services for renewable energy projects.
