THE INSPECTOR Tony Braid has lived in Victoria for over 20 years and has been involved in the construction industry for decades. Beginning with summer construction jobs in high school, Tony moved on to apprenticing as a bricklayer and stone mason, home building, roofing and technical installations. In addition, Tony has renovated numerous homes for himself and for others. Along the way, Tony studied drafting and home planning and designed and built an award winning post and beam west coast cabin. Tony attended McGill University and obtained a degree from the University of Calgary. This combination of education, hands-on experience and a lifelong interest in home building renovation and maintenance, combined with the completion of recognized home inspection courses, assures you of a thorough home inspection by someone who knows buildings and knows what to look for.

At All-Points Home Inspections Ltd. we provide the same report to our customer whether that customer be a seller or a buyer or even a homeowner looking to stay put. We educate the client about the home.

If a new roof is required, we don't just put on a roof. We ensure a quality roof with quality materials, we pay particular attention to ventilation, chimney and other flashing details and we provide peace of mind.

We will also photograph and detail other items of interest such as hot tubs, heat pumps and sump pumps. THE REPORTING SYSTEM We use what we believe to be the most thorough and complete reporting system available today. We offer a written narrative report with color photographs. You will receive an extensive examination and description of all the important systems of the home. Our report includes photographs of the home's components on Compact Disc. Our reports are easy-to-read, but we do not sacrifice important detail for glitzy fluff. We provide solid, comprehensive information divided into sections, each addressing a different system of the home and detailing any concerns and improvement recommendations that we may have. The written report, complete with color photographs, is presented to the client on the day of the building inspection. AFTER THE INSPECTION We explain things as we go along and welcome any questions you may have. If, however, you have any additional questions after the inspection, we encourage you to contact us by telephone. There is no additional charge for this service.
