The functional aspects of Northequest Trainers are found in the training and selling of safe, rideable horses for any discipline or age, as well as providing sound training techniques and brokering services for potential pleasure/show horses or riders. TRAINING Our training program here at Northequest is one of the most comprehensive training programs in the industry. You and your horse will benefit from years of practical experience in the horse industry as well as a state of the art custom facility and knowledgeable friendly management. Our program seeks to educate horses and riders, giving you both the tools for confident teamwork and continued success. TRAINING BOARD : $330.00* + HST Includes 4 days/week training. Includes and applies to any riding done for the purpose of training/schooling. *Must be accompanied by Premium Board or All-inclusive Board. We will ride and train your horse depending on the training and timelines required. Your horse's extra training, lunging/grooming will also be done by Northequests' Trainers as well as our Operation Managers as a part of the Northequest 'Buy-In' process. Each additional training ride that is not covered by the buy-in is $45.00 + applicable taxes. (Client Riding Lessons are billed separately at the going Northequest rate.) SALES BROKERING SERVICES If you are in the market to buy, sell or lease a horse we would be pleased to help you by providing our Northequest Brokering Service. A Consultation-Buying/Leasing Service Fee of $200 is charged for going with a client to see a horse for sale or lease. All monies are due upon final sale or horse's arrival at its leased destination. Comissions on leases are a flat rate of $500 on leases under $1500, and 10%-15% for leases above. Professional consultations/time billed at $50hr. Our brokering fee for buying or selling a horse or pony is typically 10%-15% of the purchase price. We will handle all paperwork, client interaction, vet-checks and horse shipping to ensure complete customer satisfaction and expedience.
