Merit Vacations has had the privilege of working with Barris since 2003 when he inspired Merit to build a tour to Normandy to commemorate the 60th anniversary of D-Day. Since that first sellout tour, Merit has worked with Barris each year to deliver an exceptional travel program to highlight Canadian war history. Each tour is designed and run by Merit and hosted by Barris himself.

Merit Travel Group Inc. is a member of The Ski Tour Operators Association, which is an organization of the largest and best-established ski tour operators in the U.S. and Canada.

In order to provide you with a variety of products, services and advice, Merit Travel Group will with your consent, share your client information with other Merit Travel Group businesses, affiliates and suppliers.

The Travel Media Association of Canada was founded in 1994 to satisfy the need to join the country's travel media and tourism industry. It was an answer to connect the two sectors bringing as a result a more accurate and effective communication and an improved level of professionalism. Currently, TMAC has over 350 members, including media and industry representatives.
