Designed for small to medium sized farms, community and market gardens, the G-100′s solar powered controls monitor local environmental and soil conditions to decide when to water, and how much is needed. The system links directly to conventional irrigation pumps and valves to achieve maximum water use efficiency. iDUS has worked with farmers to develop a versatile soil moisture sensor and create a simple interface that farmers can control and set. Since the unit is solar powered, there’s no extra power or zone cabling involved.
