This plan, drawn up by Cap 2010, a group of seven industry leaders headed by oenologist Jacques Berthomeau, and including Chardronnier, Languedoc producer Robert Skalli, supermarket moguls Pierre Mirc and Jean Louis Vallet-Carrefour, and producers Pierre Aguilas of Anjou and Jean Louis Pithon of Luberon, was submitted to the Minister of Agriculture two months ago.

At last here we are again. Welcome to our Winter 2003 issue. We’ve been hard at work writing and researching for our numerous projects and clients. We were unable to provide a Christmas issue this year as William was in Portugal dealing with an exciting new development. He has been named the Canadian Brand Ambassador for Saven, the largest food and wine distributor in Portugal. With this, he will be working with a number of small elite wineries of Portugal.

William's training includes advanced enology/wine training through comprehensive studies with the Association of Italian Sommeliers, the Italian Wine Academy, the German Wine Academia, the French Wine Academy, and years of experience in several wineries.
