Mr. Pitcher is President of The Mining House Inc., a provider of engineering services related to project development and management. He is the former CEO of United Silver Corp., a precious metal mining company and, from 2002 to 2010, he was President and CEO of Western Canadian Coal Corp., having joined the company to oversee the completion of feasibility studies and the start up of its coal mining operations. With more than 40 years of senior executive experience in civil construction and mine development, Mr.
Mr. Yarrow is a senior economic geologist with more than 35 years experience in the minerals industry. He has been involved in a number of discoveries of massive sulphide, magmatic nickel, tungsten and gold. Mr. Yarrow has extensive experience in commercial and legal aspects of the business and new business development in a number of different countries. As former VP Exploration for Anglo American plc, Mr. Yarrow had responsibility for projects in North America and Europe.
Mr. Mackie is a professional geologist, and received his B.Sc. degree in geology and chemistry from Carleton University and his M.Sc. in geology from the University of Manitoba. He has more than 30 years of mining industry experience in Canada and internationally. He has a proven exploration record, having managed several successful projects in gold and base metals in senior positions with Noranda, Hemlo Gold and North American Palladium.
The Company has continued to diversify its property portfolio geographically in central Canada to include base metals with the addition of the Reed Lake copper-zinc and nickel-copper project, the Burntwood nickel project and the Foster River zinc-lead-silver project. In 2004 the Company acquired the Reed Lake property in the Flin Flon -- Snow Lake greenstone belt of Manitoba. The Reed Lake project area was expanded in 2010 to total 8,580 hectares in 46 contiguous claims.
