Moving time is strongly influenced by the amount of packing completed in advance, travel distance required between pickup and delivery locations, weather, and traffic conditions. WHEN DOES BILLING START? The hourly rate starts when the truck arrives at the pickup location. The time ends when the truck is empty at the delivery location and all required set-up jobs are complete. IS THERE A MINIMUM RATE? Yes, local moves will be subject to a minimum of four hours of labour charge. Once the minimum of hours has been reached, billing is done in quarter hour increments.
