I have been in the lumber industry since 1976, and with Welco since 1991. I head up our specialty timbers and matting division where we pride ourselves on our quality products and service. As well, we offer the most competitive prices on crane mats, rig mat blocking, pipeline skids, glu laminated beams, 2×8 access mat lumber and timbers. We ship direct from our partner mills and treating plants to contractors, distribution yards, and government agencies.

I recently joined Welco, January 2012, when Marathon Forest Products Ltd. merged with Welco Lumber Corp., and the combined team moved to the current location at 4445 Lougheed Hwy in Burnaby. Prior to the merger, I had the pleasure of working at Marathon Forest Products for 20 years. Through these years, I gained valuable experience in many different facets of office administration. In my current role with Welco as receptionist, it is my pleasure to be the frontline person for the Company.

Welco remains committed to delivering the quality products and service we have provided since 1983. In addition, we continue to add new offerings and expand our product lines. We are especially proud of our ability to offer exclusive products from our contract mills. Through these strategic alliances, each partner is enabled to leverage its strength and, together, bring a better product and price to the customer.
