I really value these classes. I now realize that, when it comes to refining the use of English language, there is so much to learn – skills such as paying attention to others, applying techniques learned in class and getting rid of bad habits. For example, I hadn’t realized that listening actively was actually not easy when your mind is racing through translations, finding the right words, and trying to deliver an articulate message, all at once.
