Since its establishment, Vermeulen/Hind Architects has provided architectural, interior design and master planning services, almost exclusively, to Health Care clients. Given the number and scope of these projects, the firm has become a specialist in health care architecture. We are unique in our specific recent experience in the design of Oncology facilities.

Fred Vermeulen and Mary Jo Hind founded Vermeulen/Hind
Architects in 1992. In 1995 Chris Harrison became a partner of the firm. Our staff of eighteen, currently the largest architectural office in the Hamilton Wentworth Region and
Niagara Peninsula, provides design services for projects with construction values of over $40 million per year.

The firm’s success in performing for their clients is largely due to the accessibility and continuing involvement of the partners throughout the projects. Vermeulen/Hind’s partner driven firm structure assures that the needs and schedule of the client’s project will be addressed through maintaining the personal attention that is the foundation of the practice.
