Vancouver International College is a well-known and respected language school operating in downtown Vancouver. We are members of CEC and previous to their reorganization, were registered with PPSEC.
Students study from beginner to college level in an effort to upgrade their English skills. VIC specializes in upgrading communication skills. Programs include general ESL, English test preparation and Business English.
We recognize that students travel to Canada to learn about Canadian culture and lifestyle as well as for cultural exchange with students from around the world. Thus, as well as providing a rich, multi-cultural learning environment, VIC is a great supporter of cultural exchange as a means to greater understanding, respect and acceptance of others. We welcome and promote the Canadian Mosaic model.
VIC is a privately owned college relying primarily on the recruitment of foreign students. However, through the VIC New Immigrant Sponsorship Program, the college has offered education to numerous new immigrants and refugees in Vancouver in an effort to share our expertise and to give back to our community. At VIC, we strive to offer the highest standard of education to our students. At minimum, all teaching staff possesses a university degree and TESOL training from an approved institution. .
