After 20+ years working in the industry Nick Jardine founded Urban Handyman Inc. in 2009. Nick’s goal was to provide customers with quality craftsmanship and excellent service and he knew he couldn’t do that without someone taking care of the office, scheduling, and organizing his projects upfront. He collaborated and partnered with Brenda Blanchard who gained experience in design and renovation after buying and renovating properties for rental and accommodation.

At Urban Handyman we believe that a detailed written proposal is the only way to come to a final agreement on which contractor to hire for the job. Since putting together a detailed renovation quote can take upwards of several hours for a contractor to price materials and labour and quote sub-trades we like to provide you with an estimated proposal up front to ensure it fits your budget. If so, we proceed along a 5-step process to provide you with a written fixed quote proposal.
