Description
Note: As another option, a Burnish-Scrub procedure can be done. Follow steps 1 to 5 from above. Secure a thick, brown strip pad to your 1000 to 1600 RPM electric or propane burnisher. OPTION #1: Immerse mop in cleaner solution and halfway wring out. Damp mop manageable areas to be completed as you go. OPTION #2: Mix 1:256 (1/2 oz / 4ml) of 'Cleaner & Conditioner' cleaner in quart trigger sprayer. Liberally mist area(s) to be scrubbed. Walk burnisher over area, slowly drying floor completely. Fill bucket with wringer with clean cool water and damp mop-rinse floor with clean dedicated, rinse mop. If using an auto scrubber, drop cool water, red pads on, squeegee down, and solution on medium. You can now re-burnish floor areas and spot coat with your choice of Ultra Floor Care finish coating. Blend in wet edges with burnisher and gorilla, non-rubberized, natural hair type pad. Alternately, you can re-coat entire floor with your choice of Ultra Floor Care finish and burnish with gorilla, non-rubberized, natural hair type pad after third coat. Close Note: Seal is optional when using Ultra Floor Care finishes unless floor is extremely porous, when preparing a new floor, or when traffic is extremely heavy. However, 'Sealer' is highly re commended for all floor set ups, as it will greatly enhance the floor finish and increases its durability. Close Note: Do not flood floor for stripping or cleaning procedures. Close Note: To determine the proper dilution required to strip an area, pre-mix 'Stripper' at two label directions. As an example 1:8 (16 oz/128 ml) for regular stripping and 1:4 (32 oz/256 ml) for heavy duty stripping. Use container cap for ease in measuring (e.g. on e capful of 'Stripper' to 8 capfuls of water). Pour two dilutions on the floor in an area with the punch out of the stripping pad you will be using. Remove solution from test area(s) (a 14" or 16" window squeegee will accomplish this task quickly and easily) and examine floor. If floor finish has been successfully stripped, use the successful dilution established. If floor finish has not been completely stripped, increase dilutions and re-test new areas. Once the proper dilution has been established, proceed using proper dilution. Close Note: To determine the proper dilution required to non-mechanically strip an area, pre-mix 'Stripper' at two dilutions. As an example, 1:4 for regular stripping and 1:2 for heavy duty stripping. Use container cap for ease in measuring (e.g. One capful of 'Stripper' to 4 capfuls of water). Pour two dilutions on floor in area that represents the toughest stripping required. Allow 5 to 10 minutes contact time. Remove solution from test area (a 14" or 16" window squeegee will accomplish this task quickly and easily) and examine floor. If floor finish has been successfully stripped, use the successful dilution established. If floor finish has not been completely stripped, increase dilutions and re-test new areas. Once the proper dilution has been established, proceed using successfully established dilution.
