Tulmar specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of textile protective products and inflatable life support equipment for the Aerospace, Defence and Security markets internationally.

Tulmar’s products are diverse in nature ranging from stowage equipment and seat restraints for military vehicles to inflatable life support devices for military and aerospace.

Tulmar produces a variety of lifejackets for military and commercial use including a high buoyancy life preserver for tactical waterborne operations and an FAA approved TSOC13F commerical lifejacket.

For the aviation training industry, Tulmar has developed a range of cabin safety equipment from escape slide/rafts to lifejackets and smokehoods. Tulmar builds functional equivalents of OEM equipment designed for durability and continuous in-service use.

Liferamp--an inflatable ramp for ice/water rescue--is made in a variety of sizes ranging from 10 feet to 80 feet and is of particular appeal to airport rescue authorities.

Tulmar's inflatable shelter system for emergency response teams is rapidly deployable and can incorporate decontamination equipment.

Headquartered in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Tulmar operates from a modern 60,000 square foot facility with equipment ranging from computerized cutting tables and sewing machines to R.F. (radio frequency) welding and heat sealing equipment.

The company carries on R & D activities related to the above product areas and is interested in discussing product development opportunities with third parties.

Tulmar also operates a Transport Canada certified repair station for aviation life support equipment (AMO 67-92).
