A.L. (Bud) Townson founded Townson & Company after 20 years in industry management positions across Canada. He has been active in management advisory councils and the Tax Foundation and is a graduate of the CICA Tax Course. Bud has been instrumental in the development of innovative insurance solutions and is on the forefront of the creation of individual and group retirement planning. Mike Duggan adds his 30 years of Group Benefits experience to the team and is the Managing Partner of Townson Duggan Benefits Consultants, a division of Townson & Company specializing in Group Life & Health Employee Benefits. Mike started his career in Group Benefits in 1967 and founded Duggan Benefits Incorporated in 1983. Throughout his career he has been active in the industry and has addressed many professional groups on Group Benefits. Tim Townson joined the Townson team after 13 years with a major insurance company. Tim brings his expertise in individual and corporate insurance solutions to the team as well as specialized knowledge of Income Replacement Arrangements. Isabelle Van Lierop has been an integral part of our team for ten years, completing her Life License requirements and participating in various industry education programs. Her strong commitment to customer service is utilised in Group Life & Health, Individual Life and Disability areas. Townson & Company will team up with your lawyer and accountant, or we can introduce you to our resource professionals to make sure your interests are interpreted. Joel Cuperfain, LL.B. is a Regional Consultant of the Tax & Estate Planning Group for Manulife Financial and lends his consulting support in developing and implementing advanced tax and estate planning strategies and specializes in generating innovative and tax-effective life insurance solutions. Jeff McKay and Carolyn Simpson, directors of Simpson - McKay Financial Services Incorporated, each bring over 20 years of business management to the team. The firm has evolved into a very specialized independent organization and offers Townson's clients the benefit of their detailed research and understanding of investment and retirement products. Terry Townson is licensed to sell Mutual Funds through Manulife Financial Securities International Limited and teams up with Simpson-McKay and our clients for their investment diversification and retirement planning. She also uses her management skills to oversee the details of client and product administration.
