The company was founded in July 2004 by a small group of friends, drawn together by a mutual love and concern for their pets, including Inna Shekhtman, Louise Bryce, and Linda Edwards. It began operations in a small 600 sq. ft. warehouse on Mitchell Island, BC. The first few years were challenging, as they struggled to find the right suppliers, formulas, and packaging. By focusing on quality products, quality manufacturing practices and excellent customer service, they continued to grow and expand, establishing themselves as a leader in the raw pet food industry.
