With more than 30 years of experience and over 4000 homes built from Fort Erie to Grimsby and everywhere in between, Mountainview Homes has held the leadership role in new home consutruction in the Niagara Region. With visions of a Higher Standard of Living, Mountainview prides itself as a leader in design, innovation and service in Ontario.In 1979, Mountainview Homes planted humble roots as a family run home building company, founded by Nick Basciano and his two brothers-in-law Lou Memme and Frank Memme. The company was extremely successful in the early years and by the late 1980’s Mountainview had successfully become Niagara’s largest home builder. Creating a sense of place, beautiful master planned family communities were successfully completed across the Niagara Region. Confederation Heights in Thorold, Ontario has over 1000 homes built. As well, in West St. Catharines, Vintage Estates, Cambrian Heights, Grapeview Estates, Brockview Estates, and Maplebrook Estates have over 1000 homes built. 1994 saw the beginning of change for Mountainview Homes.

John Daly started playing golf at the age of four and has since risen to become a true sports legend. John was born in Carmichale, California on April 28th 1966. He graduated from the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the golf team. Daly turned professional in 1987. In 1990 he won the Ben Hogan Utah Classic. He joined the PGA Tour in 1991 and won the PGA Championship in his first year. In 1992 he won the B.C. Open and the 1994 BellSouth Classic. He earned exempt status in 1995 when he won the British Open. His long list of achievements include being named the 1990 PGA Tour Rookie of the year, becoming the youngest active player on the PGA Tour with two major championship titles, and becoming the fourth American since World War II to win two majors before his 30th birthday, joining Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Johnny Miller. Daly is one of the most recognized and popular members of the tour. He is known primarily for his power on the course. Daly is a consistent challenger for the Driving Distance crown and has won that title a record-setting 11 times as of 2004.
