Our company was founded in the year 1909, by George W. Nelson & his brother Percy Nelson at Lower Cape in Albert County, New Brunswick (near the famous Hopewell Cape Rocks). The Nelson brothers initially set up their business in an old church, with the showroom and offices at the front of the building and the manufacturing facilities at the back. The company was originally known as George W. Nelson & Sons and the business was successfully operated from this location for many years. In addition to making monuments, the brothers were involved in quarrying granite, and the manufacture and installation of architectural stonework. We are not sure exactly when George's sons Russell, Maurice and Harry joined the company. The family was quite large and Geo. W. Nelson & Sons directly employed several members of the immediate and extended family, whilst others became involved in related stone working industry companies, such as cemetery lettering, or making speicalized tools and equipment for the monument industry. In Memory of GEORGE MCCORMACK June 10, 1926 - June 30, 2014 Honeywood Cemetery George was our sales representative in the Collingwood area for over 25 years. He was intensely loyal to his clients with an old fashioned, very dedicated work ethic. We always enjoyed his unusual sense of humour and his visits at our shop in KW, with his family and his doggies. George, You were truly one of a kind!.

We design and manufacture all types of cemetery memorials, and carry a full line of bronze and stone products and cemetery accessories. Delivery and installation is provided free of charge (where permitted by the cemetery regulations), in all of the cemeteries located throughout Southwestern Ontario.
