Description

The Optikon Corp. is a Systems Integration, sales and marketing organization of optical, electro-optical, opto-electronic and mechanical systems and products in Canada and adjacent US territories. These systems include lasers, fibre-optic test and communication systems, high speed motion analysis systems and high performance CCD Digital Cameras for bio-imaging applications.
Optikon also maintains a Calibration Laboratory to perform calibrations and re-calibrations of Optical Sources, Sensors and
Instrumentation traceable to national standards. Founded in
1974, Optikon is a privately held company with a subsidiary, The
Cooke Corporation (USA). The company employs between 11 and 50 individuals of clientele consists of small and large companies, government agencies and universities / research labs in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
Optikon works closely with a variety of companies, thus performing exclusive sales of their products in Canada and the
US. Optikon is currently seeking foreign cooperation in the form of investment from foreign firms in the LBOE industry. The company, in turn, is offering foreign firms cooperation in the form of know-how that the company has generated. The company is also willing to participate in the marketing of joint items.
