On Saturday, October 16, 2010, the front page of the Toronto Star told the story of Lovely Avelus "“ a little girl who, after being trapped under the rubble left in the wake of the devestationg earthquake in Haiti, was found alive. One of the Chorale's ensemble members wrote a calypso about this strong, courageous little girl.
