Commissionaires British Columbia (CBC) is a member division of Commissionaires, Canada's premier security services provider. We serve the mainland of BC, including the southern interior and northern communities, with a network of six local offices and over 1600 well trained, dedicated employees. CBC utilizes our deeply rooted knowledge of the communities we serve to provide each client with highly effective security solutions.

The Victoria and Vancouver Island Division was established in 1937 with just 16 members. It has grown along with the communities on Vancouver Island providing a wide range of services to government, business and industry. In its 74th year, the Division currently maintains operations and administrative responsibility for security and related services in many communities on Vancouver Island, Haida Gwaii and the Gulf Islands. With the addition of the detachment in Whitehorse in 1999, the name was changed to Victoria, the Islands and Yukon Division to reflect our areas of business.

For over 80 years, commissionaires have been providing a wide range of security support and services to governments, businesses and institutions from Newfoundland to British Columbia. In addition to a wide range of security guard and fingerprint identification services, commissionaires are also called on to provide monitoring and mobile alarm response, training and administrative services, as well as anti-counterfeiting technologies and auditing services.
