Founded in 1967, Texel is one of Canada's largest manufacturers of needled nonwoven fabrics. Texel employs over 200 employees in its plants.

Since 1998 Texel is certified ISO 9001, and this certification has been extended according to the ISO 2001: 2004 standard.
