Based in Lloydminster, LML Industrial Contractors Ltd. (“LML”), a union based entity, began operations in 1991. The core focus of LML is to provide quality, cost-effective union solutions for plant and field maintenance; shutdowns/turnarounds and sustaining capital projects. LML’s industry experience in Alberta and Saskatchewan includes heavy oil upgraders, refineries, petrochemical, mining, fertilizer, potash and pulp & paper.

Joe Bandura has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, primarily focused in maintenance and construction. Prior to joining Tartan Canada Corporation, Joe incorporated Arc Line Construction Ltd., in 2003, with operations located in Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan. In addition, Joe founded Bandjo Oilfield Services in 1984. He grew and managed this business until its divestiture in 1998.

Leon has overall responsibility for Tartan Canada Corporation's Projects Division (larger capital projects) as well as corporate health and safety, and quality control and assurance programs. His oil and gas engineering and construction management background includes more than 15 years of experience in pipelines and facility construction (including site works), fabrication of process piping and structural steel, demolition projects, and execution of maintenance and shutdown contracts. Leon holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Dalhousie University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Alberta.

Kirby leads all of Tartan Canada Corporation’s finance and administration activities. Kirby is originally from the Edmonton area and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and is a Chartered Accountant. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial operations of public and private companies. Prior to joining Tartan Canada, Kirby was Corporate Controller with a public financial services company in Edmonton and held various senior financial positions overseas with a publicly traded insurance company and a large international accounting firm.
