Founded in 1991 with a single helicopter, Taiga established itself as a general helicopter charter service primarily supporting the resource-based industry sector in central Canada. Founded in 1935 as Bell Aircraft Corporation, Bell continues to be forward thinking, innovative, and dependable. For these reasons, the Bell Long Ranger Utility helicopters are our aircraft of choice. Taiga helicopters are reliable, versatile platforms that can be configured for a multitude of missions and applications.

Taiga provides a broad range of services in forest fire suppression. With more than two decades of safe operations, Taiga has the experience and equipment necessary to be a valuable member of your fire suppression team. Beyond general transport duties, we are experienced in every aspect of fire-line tasking including professional IR (link) and GIS services as well as certified aircraft for heli-torch and A.I.D. operations.

With growing demand for expertise in aerial survey, specialty services are now the largest component of our business. In order to properly support our clients with customized project solutions, we continue to pioneer unique applications for our systems and incorporate the newest technologies into our imaging and data acquisition capabilities.
