Sutco Contracting History Sutco Contracting Limited was brought into conception in 1995 as a family run small business consisting of four logging trucks based in the West Kootenay community of Salmo BC. From there our young owners set out to realize their vision of becoming a major presence in the transportation industry. In 1996 armed with little more than determination, hard work ethics, and an ability to foresee the demand of a local client base Sutco purchased their first W 900 Kenworth highway tractor and a used set of Super B flat deck trailers. In a short time Sutco was established as an inter provincial general freight transport company with the ability to provide impeccable service. 1999 was a year of tremendous growth for our small company. Not only did our highway division expand and take on shape as an international service provider hauling freight in and out of the top three western United States, we were also able to establish ourselves in the transportation fields of heavy haul, wood chips, and short logs. In 2004 we challenged ourselves to once again better serve our customer base, this challenge saw to the successful expansion of all of our divisions. We were especially proud that year to announce our ability to provide transportation services in our highway division that range from British Columbia to Ontario. The past two years has seen us grow to the point were we have established sales offices in both Salmon Arm BC and Calgary AB. Today using the same determination and hard work ethics Sutco Contracting is still family owned and is still operated from our original home terminal in Salmo BC. Sutco proudly services all of Canada and the top three western United States. Our young management team prides itself in providing a friendly and safe work environment for all of Sutco's employees while going the extra mile for all of our customers. Because we continue to meet and satisfy the demand of a growing customer base and we continually accept all challenges to diversify as needed to remain successful in this ever-evolving industry we truly do consider our selves to be "Your Transportation Specialists".
