Superior Glove started in 1910 making gloves for retail stores.
By 1960 the company had changed over to produce industrial gloves, specifically for steel mills: the welding trade: carmanufacturing and it’s feeder plants. To enhance our competitiveness we opened a tannery, a spinning mill and a knitting operation. This vertical intergration allowed us to tackle and solve problems more efficiently. Moreover, we became very competitive and a low cost producer on many styles of gloves. Only a very few manufacturers worldwide are in this cost effective league.

We have a 130,000 sq. ft. facility in Acton, Ontario: a 60,000 sq. ft. plant in Point Leamington, Newfoundland and also two new warehouses in Buffalo, New York and Cleveland, Ohio. Weare continuing to develop new unique safety gloves to add to our existing lineup of over 2000 styles of work gloves. Worker’s hands in every imaginable industry and job application are protected by "Superior" gloves. Our vertically integrated production extends from:

- our two leather tanners - seamless glove knitting department - glove dipping section plus our class 100 cleanroom laundry - glove dotting and screen printing division - glove sewing department - safety clothing, welding and rainwear department


Superior Glove manufactures special gloves for different distributors around the world for many hi-tech and demanding applications like extreme high heat, cleanroom, and extremecut protection. Superior gloves are sold in the USA, through welding, safety and industrial distributors.
