I am a provisionally registered psychologist and I obtained my Masterâ??s degree at the University of Alberta. I have counseling experience working primarily with adult and adolescent clients on an individual and group basis. My approach is eclectic; I recognize the importance of the therapeutic relationship and draw techniques from multiple theories in order to best meet the needs of my clients on an individual basis. I also conduct formal psycho-educational assessments.

Evaâ??s role at the clinic is presently to fill a position on our SunRise Psychology Centre Board as a business advisor. She has solid experience in the field of psychology and comes from a similar clinic in UK. As she has been a part of the clinic from the very first day, Eva takes a genuine interest in the growth of the Centre, in addition to actively mentoring the Marketing Coordinator in her functions.

My studies in the field of psychology started at the University of Bergen in 1986, and I graduated as a Clinical Psychologist in 1995 from the University of Oslo, Norway. With over 30 years in the field of Psychology, I have extensive experience from clinical work with patients, teaching, writing and public presentations. My clinical work is based on a holistic and strength based perspective, with a wonderful blend of techniques and theories that custom build your treatment. As a seasoned therapist ~ it is a little miracle every time someone finds renewed hope, achieves clarity and embarks on a new direction for their life.
