Description

The Sucrerie de la Montagne is a sugar shack open all year long and located between Montréal and Ottawa. This tourist attraction is recognized by Tourism Québec and the Canadian Tourism
Commission as one of the most popular sites due to its authentic features. Visitors are invited to participate in several tradition activities: hayrides in horse-drawn carriage, guided tours to the sugar shack and the hundred-year-old baker. Old time feast service: the sugar feast is an all-you-can-eat-family style meal animated by folk singers where the guests are invited to sing and dance. After the meal, a visit to the general store is a must.
