Before starting his own immigration consulting firm, he had 10 years experience in the immigration field as a manager of one of the largest immigration firms in New Zealand. Prior to that, he had 17 years experience in a variety of New Zealand businesses in sales, marketing and export management roles. Over the last ten years, the firm has been helping investors and business people wishing to relocate or invest in New Zealand.
Managerial, Professional, Technical Applicants With few exceptions, skilled workers living outside Canada must apply under the federal skilled worker program, which is a points based system that assesses an applicant’s age, education, profession, experience and ability in English or French. To qualify, the applicant must have his trade qualification assessed by a Canadian assessment service to determine whether their training and experience meets the Canadian standard. Additional points may be earned if an applicant has studied or worked in Canada, has family in Canada, the applicant’s spouse has good English or French, or if the applicant has arranged employment in Canada. For 12 months beginning May 2, 2013 Canada will accept a maximum of 5,000 applicants in the Federal Skilled Worker program from a list of 24 occupations. Only 300 applicants will be accepted for each occupation. Skilled Trades Applicants The Federal government also allows trades people to apply for immigration to Canada.
The agent and his staff have experience in markets as diverse as Asia, Africa, India, the Middle East, Russia and the USA. They currently have offices in three cities in New Zealand and an agent in Malaysia.
