T he Sound Post is a full-service violin shop renowned for providing string players with quality products and world-class services at excellent prices. We restore, repair, evaluate, buy and sell violins, violas, cellos, basses and their bows and specialize in restoring and selling antique instruments.

We provide verbal appraisals at no charge. Written appraisals or insurance evaluations are $80. Please contact us in advance to book an appointment to have your instrument or bow professionally appraised.
