Looking at the success we have achieved since introducing a second lustre level on Solida Cork, we have decided to make available two lustre levels in Solida Bamboo." This finish has a 30 year residential / 5 year commercial wear warranty. Solida's successful custom colour program in cork will cross-over into the Solida Bamboo program. If someone is unable to find the colour or tone they are looking for in the standard 65 bamboo colours, Solida is pleased to offer custom colours based on any sample provided. Solida has selected Moso bamboo for this program. Many retailers are stocking budget priced bamboo which present numerous issues with quality control and after installation problems with warping and other difficulties from environmental factors. Moso bamboo is a premium bamboo that is extremely dense and very hard wearing. Solida Bamboo is suited to commercial and residential installation. Bamboo, which is a grass, not a wood species, can grow up to 4 feet in a single day. When harvested, the plant is cut down to the shoot from which it will grow back for repeated harvests making it a truly sustainable source.
