Société V.I.A. Inc.

Description

La Société V.I.A., established in 1977, is now a leader in the sorting and processing of recyclable waste in eastern Québec. Thanks to its ultramodern equipment, each year the company processes more than 100,000 metric tonnes of recyclable waste, such as paper, cardboard, glass, metal and plastic. It has modern facilities at its disposal, including a sorting centre with a treatment capacity of more than 40,000 metric tonnes , sorting conveyers, an automatic press for the processing of materials.


As an Adapted Enterprise (AWC) accredited by the Emploi Quebec for the Handicapped and a non-profit organization, the Société V.I.A.Inc.'s mission, in a framework of integration and adaptation, is to create jobs for physically or developmentally challenged people.


In its future projects, La Société V.I.A. Inc. expects to acquire leading technology and to develop new products, such as recycled plastic products.
