Skelton Brumwell & Associates utilizes years of design and field experience plus continued educational training to provide wastewater treatment and disposal and water supply and treatment solutions. Our specialized services in rural environments include private residential development, places of worship, campgrounds, water parks, hotels and municipal projects.

Skelton, Brumwell & Associates has been providing engineering, planning and environmental consulting services in Barrie since 1970. We have developed a reputation for providing quality work and achievement on projects for both public and private sector clients across Central Ontario. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff of engineers, planners, ecologist, resource and engineering technologists, draftpersons and CADD operators, inspectors and clerical personnel ensure all our client’s needs are met.

We coordinate work related to approvals by Conservation Authorities, the Niagara Escarpment Commission, and provincial Ministries. When required, we have provided expert testimony at the Ontario Municipal Board. We provide engineering and ecological services in house.

Matt first started with Skelton Brumwell as a co–op student, and completed 2 summer work terms in 2008 and 2009. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Civil Engineering, Matt started to work full time with Skelton Brumwell in May 2010. Since that time Matt has worked with our other P. Eng.’s to learn about site servicing and grading design, stormwater management, sewage effluent disposal systems, construction administration, topographic surveying, and Phase I ESA’s.

Skelton Brumwell & Associates planning services for private and public sector clients includes the preparation of Secondary Plans, Plans of Subdivision, planning justification reports, Official Plan Amendments, Zoning-By-law Amendments and Site Plans. We have experience in review of development applications including reports to Council, and administering the Site Plan Approval and Committee of Adjustment processes for municipalities.
