The litigation group at Sim, Lowman, Ashton & McKay LLP offers extensive litigation experience through our substantial practice in intellectual property and related litigation, including: In 2008, our Litigation Practice Group received the Canadian Copyright Case of the Year Award from Managing Intellectual Property/EuroMoney. Members of our group have published widely in both articles and books relating to litigation strategies and rules of procedure, and have presented many seminars and lectures in Canada and internationally on these topics for the Canadian Bar Association, The Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, Law Society of Upper Canada, American Bar Association, The Advocates' Society and others. We also lecture and/or teach litigation skills and intellectual property law at the University of Toronto, Osgoode Hall Law School, The Law Society of Upper Canada Bar Admission Course and The Advocates' Society.
