We are known as the out-source specialists in the tubular and stamping assembly business. Even though we hold most capabilities and assets to service OEM manufacturers, we continue to focus our service and products with our tier I customers. The present market economics have challenged Shur Lok to become leaner and diversify to non-automotive sectors. We offer manufacturing solutions to companies requiring all designs of structural fabrication.

Our Purpose To Provide our customers with a quality assembly and modular assembly out-source cost saving solution. To continuosly find ways to make the process from design to delivery cost effective. Work in partnership with our customers to design and manufacture components and assemblies to produce innovative lightweight metal, aluminum and stainless steel products.

Shur Lok Products has been successful in developing our capability to support our customer needs in the area of multiple stamped metal products. Through the years Shur Lok has continued to invest in press assets required to produce stamped product orders that continue to augment. Presently we have automatic, manual and tandem presses ranging from 80 to 1000 tons, with feeder equipment, uncoilers, and crane loading support. As we develop new business, we will continue to invest in the next level of assets and new technologies, which will include higher tonnage large bed presses.

Our History The principals at Shur-Lok have been in the welding, assembly and value-added business since 1964. We started out as Pete's Welding, assembling porch railings in a modest 500 sq. ft. building, and soon became Southwestern Ontario's leading railing business. The automotive business started in 1978 to service customers who were being pressured by the "Big Three" to start supplying assemblies to the line, but didn't have the welding expertise in-house and needed to control cost & quality. Shur-Lok has been a leading value-added tier 2, 3 company ever since.

Shur Lok Products has worked over 20 years with customers in finding cost effective solutions to produce and manage their metal stampings and production welded assemblies. This has allowed our customers to expand their overall capacity, provide quality products, and increase productivity while maintaining or reducing capital expenditures. Shur Lok Products can undertake complete Press work and Production Welding projects from small to high volumes with stampings up to 1000 tonnes, from CAD to full production.
