Our History Our company was founded in 1955. Shrader Canada Limited has been a pioneer in developing product formulations for OEM and private brand chemicals and lubricants. Shrader Canada Limited is owned by the Malcolm Family with James Malcolm serving as President and CEO until his resent retirement. James and the Malcolm family continue to play an active role in the company.

As our business grows, we’ve seen the opportunity to translate our expertise in the automotive industry into the industrial space, and taken action. Our new Titan Industrial line benefits from our years of experience in chemical and lubricant manufacture, and from our continued pursuit of great chemical solutions. Like our automotive ventures, each product in our Titan line not only meets industry standards and stringent specifications, our formulas are actually OEM approved.

With each improvement in engine technology, especially as auto manufacturers are continually chasing more and more fuel efficiency, Shrader will be here, consistently providing the cleaning and service chemicals necessary to adapt to the latest in engine build design and specification. In 1992, the Chemical Warehousing and Distribution Division was added in response to our customers’ growing need for chemical compliant warehousing and distribution facilities. Over the course of its history, Shrader Canada Limited has also pioneered manufacturing processes, warehousing and distribution solutions, regulatory compliance programs and creative marketing approaches for the automotive, marine, powersport, heavy duty industries. The company is now turning its attention to new markets, notably in the industrial sector.
